Grey Shade and Coffee : My Second Cup

During this recently unseasonal showers in Mumbai (Oh yes I am very much from Aamchi Mumbai)…..where it confused all of us weather to jump in a puddle and enjoy our coffee or remind ourselves that Hey March is here!...MARCH - month full of deadlines and welcoming Heat (P.S I am not a summer person). I didn't find it too hard to make a decision here and quickly jumped on this occasion of enjoying my Cuppa Coffee. What brew over this cup made me run to you with my second cup (second article).

Going with the flow…we often hear this line and mostly when we seem to be lost or don’t know what’s coming next. I have been listening to it too and following sometimes but it isn't always easy to go with the flow and I read somewhere that only dead fishes go with the flow. So yeah I don’t like making it easy always. I am a girl with a keen interest of having it all knowing the fact there will be a snag at every step that I take forward. I know there will be a lot of disappointments but few happy moments that makes our heart skip a beat is totally worth all the efforts. Isn't it? This day the nature itself wasn't going with the flow and then what followed next was all the possible right and wrong questions popping in my head. If given any chance I wanted to stand in between the road and scream out loudly asking everybody to shut up who come up with all the questions typically at the age of 25 like what next? When am I getting married? Do you know cooking?  Is that guy your boyfriend? When is your promotion happening? Are you following any diet plan? And some more mindless life fundas that nobody ever asked for.

We don’t have all the answers at times and sometimes we think we are not answerable to these questions…Just like at times there will be black or white and at times Grey. Yes, Grey….I love grey (quite literally) this shade is where I find my comfort zone. There is no right or wrong sometimes and picking one side isn't the solution. By now if you feel that you belong to the same “Grey” category then I think I have something for you.
Have you wondered if we always start running for questions and answers there will be a point where we wouldn't know what person we actually are and our self-identity is slowly disappearing. How would we know what really is our magnet in life???? And by the time we actually realize Ohhh we have already missed the bus! Isn't it scary?...No no I am not here to scare you… I know Mr. James Wan is doing an excellent job at it. Well like most of us who have been through this same inquest I can tell you what helped me relax and it was nothing but my gut feeling. I don’t have to give Gyan on what gut feeling is and what wonders it does…the world is known to it, but what I can definitely vouch for is that this gut feeling can never go wrong and works 200%.
Some risks are meant to be taken and at some places falling and failing is the only way to learn and this comes out of my own experience. I have taken risks and failed terribly at some decisions…I can only laugh on some of them and some still make me go all quiet (which is a rare scenario). Accepting the fact that we are just human beings (not super heroes) and words like risks, failing, right, wrong are just part of our life and having the courage to reach out to what we really in our own Grey shade is all that matters.  A world famous English magician and a musician Robert Heller rightly said “Never ignore a gut feeling, but never believe that it's enough” who else then a magician and musician would know what a gut feeling is.
Okay…before I turn into some Baba Amruta or Devi Amrutaji and forget that it’s actually month of March just the beginning of long hours at work and deadlines. I’ll head to my work.

By the way, Grey is my shade and it just fits me well. Let me know yours

And to all the coffee lovers like me it doesn't matter if the coffee is black or white..Coffee is just Coffee :)

Happy reading and keep blooming people!

Cheers,

Amruta.
